Our YouTube Podcast: "Epitaph to Education"

A Veteran’s Perspective on a Breaking System

After more than a decade of teaching high school mathematics across Texas, South Carolina, and Arkansas, I have witnessed the systemic hurdles that prevent true learning from taking place. Epitaph to Education is born from the need for a raw, honest dialogue about the state of our public schools. While the title may suggest a finality, the mission is actually one of resurrection—identifying the "dead" parts of our current educational model so that we can clear the way for methods that actually work for students and families today.

Bold Conversations and Innovative Solutions

This video podcast is designed to be confrontive. We will dive deep into the inherent problems within the public school system—many of which are hidden in plain sight or ignored by stakeholders. However, I am not interested in complaining without a compass. Every episode is focused on offering innovative, "out-of-the-box" solutions. Whether that means radical policy shifts, reimagining the classroom experience, or simply empowering parents with the tools to "homeschool their way out" of a failing system, we are looking for the exit ramps toward excellence.

A Resource for the Modern Stakeholder

Whether you are a concerned parent, a policymaker, or a fellow educator, this platform serves as a hub for educational reform. My goal is to inform and equip you with a perspective that only a classroom veteran with an unconventional perspective can provide. As I transition from the traditional classroom to full-time educational consulting and curriculum development, this podcast will remain the heartbeat of the NCHS mission: challenging the status quo until every student has access to an education that values their potential over their compliance.
